Γιάννης Μπαλτογιάννης

Ο γιατρός Γιάννης Γ.Μπαλτογιάννης είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων και ειδικεύθηκε στην Καρδιολογία στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ιωαννίνων. Είναι κάτοχος διδακτορικής διατριβής στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων. Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στην ηλεκτροφυσιολογία και βηματοδότηση στο νοσοκομείο UZ Brussel των Βρυξελλών ως υπότροφος της Ευρωπαϊκής Αρρυθμιολογικής Εταιρείας (EHRA), υπό την καθοδήγηση του Καθηγητή Pedro Brugada, όπου απέκτησε μεταδιδακτορικό τίτλο σπουδών. Ασχολήθηκε ιδιαίτερα με τις αρρυθμίες, όπως κολπική μαρμαρυγή, υπερκοιλιακές ταχυκαρδίες, κοιλιακές ταχυκαρδίες, τόσο με τη διάγνωση όσο και με την επεμβατική θεραπεία τους (ablation, τοποθέτηση βηματοδοτών και απινιδωτών). 

Ο ιατρός είναι συνεργάτης του Αγίου Λουκά Θεσσαλονίκης, όπου διενεργεί ηλεκτροφυσιολογικές μελέτες, ablation και τοποθέτηση βηματοδοτών και απινιδωτών. Είναι σε διαρκή συνεργασία με το πανεπιστήμιο VUB των Βρυξελλών και τον Καθηγητή Pedro Brugada.
